Interact Induction
Wednesday, April 13, 2016, Interact Club members of Ridge Spring-Monetta High School were inducted into the organization by leaders of the Twin City Rotary Club of Batesburg-Leesville. Approximately ten Rotary Club Members introduced themselves and shared with students what attracted them to the service oriented club. RSMHS students were introduced to the four-way test of Rotary: Of the things we think, say and do, we should ask four questions in the effort of aligning our intentions with positive moral character; 1. Is it Truth? 2. Is it fair to all concerned? 3. Will it build goodwill and better friendships? 4. Will it be beneficial to all concerned? RSMHS students are excited about their induction into the club and are thankful to all of the gracious members of the B-L Rotary Club.

Pancake Dinner

The Ridge Spring-Monetta High School Interact Club hosted a Pancake Dinner Thursday, March 17th to raise money for charity projects in the community. The Rotary Club of Batesburg-Leesville generously donated griddles, cooking utensils, and all of the food, drinks, and paper products for the event. In addition, members of the Rotary Club made generous donations so that after everything was said and done, the newly established Interact club has $575 in its treasury. The club members, along with its leader Carmen Holley, would like to thank Rotary members for their generosity and enthusiastic assistance.
